Most of the time we approach EVP sessions with preconceived notions. We expect spirits to conform to these ideas, and frequently, we never deviate from the direction we set out upon. But the vast majority of spirits are as individualistic as we are, and what we usually record are specific conversations. They converse with one another and with us; they interject opinions and comments into our discourse. Most EVP voices are verbally engaged with what’s going on, and sometimes we’re fortunate enough to record them. If the things we hear them say were to be assigned to so-called living souls, they would fit right in and no special attention would be paid. But these are the conversations of spirits; of EVP, simply representing the unseen partners of our lives.
