Like your podcast. I think you misunderstand Ray Dalio in 396. I think he really is being radically transparent because he might be that radically shallow and lack circumspection. I don’t know that being a tycoon and living out deep convictions are related...Enter WJC, BHO, Trump.

Very thoughtful and informative on a number of subjects...parenting, entrepreneurship, and financial independence. I just finished listening to Jake’s “Becoming an Entrepreneur” which I purchased on Audible and I was not disappointed. I particularly enjoyed his thoughts on the difference between...Read full review »

I found this podcast after hearing his interview on the one free family podcast. This podcast is my absolute favorite podcast I’ve ever listened to. The content, and his voice are just easy to listen to. He gives me hope in this world as I’m raising my daughter against the typical grain.

A+. I'm not exactly sure how I learned of this podcast, but glad I did. As I'm pondering what to do with the next stage of my work life (okay, life in general!), Jake's podcast came along. Jake Desyllas offers a wide array of things to think about. And he does so in a fashion that made me want to hang around for a moment. Very calm, logical (or should I say: rational?) and condensed, so that you can fit an episode into a short trip in a car or on a train ride. Definitely in my...Read full review »

Jake probably would not thank me for the title but heh. Clear, considered productivity ninja, modern day philosopher and life style experimenter. From the profound to the mundane and back again Jake has a useful perspective. HIghly recommended!

Having tried a series of personal finance podcasts, this is the most concise and best. Unlike many others, Jake condenses what many others take an hour to say into around 15 minutes offering several well-researched angles on the things that matter. Well worth a listen!
