could easily be improved
"I am glad to hear an intelligent podcast of the female viewpoint on current topics. The podcast is hampered by two voices that are not made for radio (Emily and Jessica). Their "Valley Girl" voices undermine the credibility of the speakers. I keep listening in spite of their annoying voices because of the very good content." Recently Emily seems to no longer be on this podcast (still on political gabfest, which is more her topic of interest anyway). Jessica still sounds like a whiny little girl. She even mentioned her "upspeak" tendency on a podcast. It's great that she recognizes the problem--now she should get some speech therapy, as she sounds ridiculous. Also contributing to the whiny-little-girl presentation is her habit of frequently bringing the conversation back to a banal personal anecdote in a self-centered manner that implies that everyone will be fascinated by the minutia of her life. Nope. Give the podcast back to the adults--Jessica should return when she grows up and has completed speech therapy. The topics are great, now please improve the speakers and the production.Read full review »

I just discovered this recently and can’t get enough. I’ve been listening to all the old episodes.

I am not naming any names, but the usage of "like" and 'you know" as a conversational pause or place holder by one of the hosts makes them sound like you know a child in elementary school. Please consider your words. Just stop this abusive practice.Read full review »
