"Like, you know"
The content on this podcast is always intriguing. However, I can not escape the irony of the group discussing on many occasions how women aren't always taken seriously and professionally... yet these women use phraseology and speech patterns that would simply not be taken seriously in the work place. If I used "like" and "you know" as often as these women I'm sure I would lose all credibility. In addition, you don't hear this speech pattern on many other broadcasts or on any other Slate podcasts for that matter. Can you please increase your standards for appropriate broadcast speech? I miss many intelligent and thought provoking points b/c I can't listen past the likes & you knows.Read full review »

Being a parent does not make you an expert, or even a mildly interesting podcast host, as those two...Read full review »
