Episodes are way longer than they need to be. Very slow to get to the point. The break & ad in the middle is very long. As a parent listening to a parenting podcast, I was hoping for something that was a little shorter and to the point.

Interesting, but I find the open way too long as a parent, almost 25 minutes into an episode and she hasn’t even gotten into any substance!

I recently found this podcast, and I’ve been listening to as many episodes as I can fit in my day. I wish I had found it sooner! Karen’s advice is solid, and on top of that she’s very pleasant to listen to, and she’s encouraging and uplifting as she does it. There are also many personal...Read full review »

I came across this podcast by complete accident I’m so happy I did! Every episode provides information that not only helps me become a better parent, but also has helped me improve as a person. I’ve listened to a couple episodes twice just because the information really opens your mind and makes...Read full review »

Hi all, thanks so much for the good advice. I have used many of your tips and tricks. I also like your guests too. Thanks for communicating how much you care because sometimes it's lonely. I live in a foreign country and after 9 years I'm still not great with the language. I find myself...Read full review »

I don’t mind the rabbit holes that she warns you about but there is so much self promotion and cross referencing of other resources. She had just a few minutes of relevant information. I think it’s misleading

The topics are great and the advice is good but an episode could be 38 minutes long and she only covers 6 minutes of the topic.

The presenter is very long winded and easily distracted in her monologue.

A fantastic resource with highly insightful views with realistic and relevant tips. So grateful to find this podcast!

I appreciate the timely topics and most episodes are helpful but I have to listen to it on 1.5 speed because Karen is sloooow to get her sentence or words out sometimes and it is frustrating. I am happy she chooses her words carefully but she will often go on for 5 minutes about what number show...Read full review »

I was excited to listen to this, so I checked out the best of episodes. I listened to #213. I spent 10 minutes just listening to her talk about herself. I would have liked to listen to something that can help me parent, not how good of a story teller she is. Also, I have littles and I really...Read full review »

I’m putting in to practice many of Karen’s parenting suggestions/tips and it’s making me a better father. I’m ENJOYING my kids more! I didn’t know that was possible. Thank you!

I was hoping to learn something, but saying spanking teaches your kids that being bigger puts you in control and then her suggestion is to force the child to do what you want them to do by force. Lmbo

Great advice on raining children in a respectful way. There is definitely too much waffle in some of the podcasts but I'm a fan nonetheless

Some days my children's behavior (or more accurately, my reaction to it) leaves me feeling frazzled, frustrated, and guilty. When that happens, I listen to We Turned Out Okay and I can end the day in a good place, armed with a healthier attitude and practical approaches to try out tomorrow.Read full review »

I was afraid of this podcast because its title Resembled some of the annoying fallacies that I hear from many people I know.
