“I didn't know I needed this podcast until I listened to it.
Workers' perspectives and rights have been largely erased from Australian political conversation over recent decades. So much so that we often forget that there is such a perspective, and how it connects to our daily lives, while also connecting us to each other.
Hearing Ben and Van bring these perspectives to my consciousness each week is a real privilege. Their examination of the recent NSW "lockout" was one example of how the media can be complicit in the degradation of worker's and their rights. This podcast innoculates us from those pervasive and corrosive messages.
