But it was a profound experience with psychedelics that catapulted him onto a path that changed his entire outlook. Once a man plagued by depression and anxiety, even going so far as to resort to antidepressants to stop him from taking his own life, he became ‘the fabric of the universe’ during this experience. He now makes it his mission to help people see the power that they hold within themselves as souls navigating this wartorn and chaos-laden ‘Earth School’. The key theme running through this metaphysical conversation is how we navigate the chaos going on in the world; for example, the drive towards digital authoritarianism and the wars going on in Ukraine and Gaza, through the lens of spirituality. Sam’s approach to things such as the war going on in Gaza may indeed be controversial to some, but is guided by what he understands to be the truth of this universe and the lessons we come here to learn.
