“Great series, listened to the whole thing in one day. Glad I heard about it (through an ad on another podcast). Hope they’re able to get the word out, because this story has a more important through line than simply recounting the corrupt and self serving practices of the We Charity and it’s founders. While that story is interesting and important, the more important takeaway is how the poor in Africa are commodified in ways that benefit the few and leave the rest no better or even worse off.”
