I’ve really enjoyed this podcast and apparently it’s finished now … very sad. It’s being moved over to Substack - which is fine but most things on Ms May’s Stack are behind a paywall. I’ll be sad to see this go - it’s been a great listen. I

A wonderful podcast about how we live now and finding meaning and connection at this time. Katherine brings her warmth and wit to a succession of excellent guests. This is a real comfort listen for me and I listen to each episode many times. Waiting eagerly for the new season to start.

I can’t believe there are only 88 reviews of this podcast so far! I’m so glad I found it. May’s books are so nourishing for my spirit and I’m thrilled she has a podcast too. I’ve listened to two episodes so far and they’ve been great food for thought. I feel like she asks questions about things...Read full review »

I felt myself craving the topics and talks of Katherine May’s podcasts. With every fibre in my being, a deep need on how to connect and come together better. It filled every spare minute I had when I was away from my little boy, an anchor to try and make sense of the world and help navigate it...Read full review »

I love Katherine’s work, and her guests are usually very interesting, but the only gripe I have is that there is so much inappropriate laughing..? Is it just me?

Both hard and wonderful topics, approached with respect and care. Talking about things we don’t normally talk about—but need to.

The Wintering Sessions was perfection - the new show? Not so much. Different vibe, not as warm and comforting. Needless to say I’ve removed all the downloads from my phone.

I’m fairly certain Katherine May is my platonic soulmate. I so enjoy having additional insight into her lovely brain, as well as the brains of her guests. I’m going through a period of wintering myself, and the best part of my days of late is my hour long walk each morning listening to this...Read full review »

After reading and relating to the book (except for all the jumping / swimming in icy water, I stumbled across this so of course I needed to have a listen. It’s got a range of engaging guests discussing a wide variety of serious topics and is a relaxing and informative listen. Haven’t listened to...Read full review »

I loved Wintering so much that I’m reading it a second time. During winter, and throughout another winter of my own. Imagine my delight when I found this podcast! Such thoughtful, beautiful conversations. The perfect companion to the book for those that want just a bit more.

Love this expansion of Katherine May’s profound book, Wintering. I’ve already listened to several episodes twice. Such comfort and wisdom in hearing people explore these true but unacknowledged times in our lives.

I just LOVE this series .. women talking about the rawness of femininity, motherhood, mothering, caring ... traumatic life posing as normality .. Thank you so much Katherine for holding the door wide open into these worlds.

Really enjoyed Katherine May’s book on adult autism and was keen to hear podcast on her latest book Wintering.I was Not disappointed! Relaxed, easy listening podcasts: an important niche for autism in adults, children; and for the families and carers.

After reading her incredible book - I’m thrilled Katherine May is creating a podcast around Wintering. We all go through a cold season - they are hard and isolating but they make us who we are. Can’t wait to devour them all
