Balanced, insightful, well worth a listen
I only knew a vague amount about the JK Rowling transphobia scandal, and this was a really refreshing and fascinating analysis of it and the wider context. Really worth listening to.

More reviews of The Witch Trials of J.K. Rowling
I loved how the host takes us back on how Harry Potter came to be, tying into cultural challenges. I was a teen in the 90’s however I never saw this aspect of it - which now as a parent and I very aware of. Can’t wait for more episodes!

Cannot wait to hear this. Thankful for Rowling’s courage to speak the truth, even in the maddening crowd of today’s society.

JK Rowling is a British writer, but episode 2 focuses almost entirely on the idiotic US religious right. Beyond gratitude for not being American it’s got little relevance to the rest of the world.
