Tim Kail is to pro-wrestling podcasting what Dan Carlin is to the history domain. If you get the reference, then chances you understand what getting at, and you’ll want to subscribe. The poise and cadence interwoven through Tim’s analysis of the pro- wrestling business makes him a must listen...Read full review »

...because it's not a wrestling podcast. Work of Wrestling is a podcast about art, life and the pursuit of making the world a better place, it just so happens to be viewed through the lens of pro wrestling. Tim's insights are always well argued, and his thoughts on wrestling, writing and...Read full review »

"it is time, it is time, to go to work, on the work of wrestling". I was initially grabbed to these podcasts in late 2015 by the charismatic presentation of podcasts, with knowledge and depth to arguments about something I'm very interested in - the art of wrestling. I'm now an...Read full review »

I discovered this podcast inthe summer of 2016 and I must say that the host, Tim Kail, has miraculously differentiated his podcast apart from the other Wrestling-related shows. This is art analysis, and this dedicated to the simple fact that professional wrestling (combining combat sports,...Read full review »

I absolutely love this show. Tim breaks down the various ways that wrestling elicits emotions through performance and storytelling. The show delves into the heart of why wrestling is art and more than meets the eye. I cannot say enough good things about this show, just listen and you'll get it.

First and foremost, thank you Tim! This podcast has been like having a great conversation with a really good friend. There is a shirt out there, worn by wrestlers and fans, that says in big letters "WRESTLING IS AN ART". That phrase is exactly the viewpoint and ideal you'll hear from Tim Kail on Work of Wrestling.
