I have almost entirely positive things to say about this podcast: there is a wealth of inspiring and enthralling information coming from nearly all the interview subjects here, each a strong academic voice from a different access point across the yogas. For me, a yoga practitioner of 20+ years,...Read full review »

Seth Powell does a great job at interviewing his guests. One of the few podcasts that offers an academic perspective on yoga. Also, the courses they offer seem like a great way to learn about yoga from reliable sources without having to enter university.

Amazing podcast. Each speaker discusses a topic that I want to learn about. I have listened to Daniela Bevilacqua which was great, and the Sikhism discussion.

Well-conceived and skillfully conducted interviews with leading scholars contributing to the growth of yoga studies as a field of scholarly inquiry. While all who are interested in yoga will likely benefit from listening, non-scholar yoga practitioners may find that the material presented...Read full review »

Just finished listening to episode 13 of YS podcast. Such a missed opportunity to get familiarity with the world of Puranas. Seth and Raj know their areas expertly well but largely fail to go beyond advertising the paid course. All discussions are either life stories from Raj or too expert for...Read full review »
