I don’t know where to begin. The podcast is a bunch of people sitting around rambling on incessantly without ever getting to a point. As an Edward Albee fan, I was excited to see a program about Albee’s “A Zoo Story”. I suffered through nearly an hour of inane chatter, wondering if they were ever...Read full review »

Great themes, good research, but what’s with all those lame jokes?

Much like a fine glass of port and a delicious slice of Black Forest Cake , this podcast is pure undiluted pleasure. There’s nothing like the moment that Bailey starts to rank stuff. CJ really is that incredible blend of awesomeness, a little Bette Davis and your best friend who knows...Read full review »

Not much waiting is necessary with these theatre nerds, since the content (to use the parlance of our times) flows like an endless stream of joyous insight, uncomfortable anatomical humor, hard earned theatre wisdom, and just a dash of self loathing to keep things rustled. I much love this...Read full review »

Scott Leggett’s mouth trumpet it unrivaled! And J Bailey would rank your grandmothers if you let him! Meanwhile, CJ’s chain smoking is sex worker positive, to say nothing of the fact that it really sounds like she’s the one saying “Sing it out, Loiuse! Ahhhh!” In the show’s theme song. What more...Read full review »

I once saw Bailey at a bus stop. We made eye contact. He moved in close to me and inserted a king size Snicker bar into my pocket a la derecha. He then simply said “shh” before disappearing into the abyss. The Snicker bar was expired so I gave this review five stars for a full refund.

This podcast allows me to geek out with people 3000 miles away who are equally impassioned about the inside baseball of plays, authors, actors, and theater spaces. An entertaining way to put some attention on plays and writers we’ve forgotten or “should” know better.

I love this show! Being a musical theatre/choir kid, I really appreciate the variety of playwrights and topics covered. I’m particularly fond of the musical/movie episodes. More please!

As a theatre nerd and one who prefers the “tre” spelling, I can geek out to these fascinating talks whenever I have a long ride or even if I am hanging around the house. The hosts have a lot of passion for this subject, and I am always learning something.

It’s always a great time listening to this crew joke and discuss a vast array of artists with their off-beat and always dynamic opinions. They fuel my mind to think differently. Solid listen.
