The delta variant is now the dominant COVID-19 variant in the US. It accounts for 83% of US cases of coronavirus and is about 60% more contagious than the first variant. Fortunately, the research shows the vaccine is effective against this strain, unfortunately, not enough people are getting the shot. This week we talk about the reasons for vaccine hesitancy, its effect on the current pandemic, and the best way to help convince more people to get shots in arms.
