Entertaining
Just finished the first season episodes and the discussions are good enough to scratch my itch for more Mad Men nerding out. Sometimes the male host’s insights are waaay off-base, especially about characters (of course a young girl in 1960 like Peggy would open her door for a junior executive at her new job, even one as unappealing as Pete), but arguing with the hosts is part of the fun of this kind of show. I do wish sometimes they’d use Google before asking “was that even a thing?” about some detail of the show. And the first season episodes are ridiculously quiet, to the point that From sampling later seasons it seems like they fixed that, so I’m looking forward to more.

But her loathing of Abigail Spencer’s character and performance is tedious and unnecessary. I’ve lost count of how many...Read full review »
