A Haunting Tale with Lingering Adverse Effects
An incredibly well researched retelling of the (unfortunately) globally ignored Bhopal Gas Tragedy. They Knew Which Way To Run gives formerly unheard first-hand accounts of the methyl isocyanate leak caused by Union Carbide in the wee early morning hours of 3 Dec 1984. Truly worth a listen to understand that such an avoidable disaster (due to purposefully cutting safety corners/ intentional oversights by the megacorporation Union Carbide) can be prevented from happening again by keeping safety measures in place to protect workers lives.

I didn’t know anything about this coming in. From the beginning, the podcast was educational and well-produced. It’s obvious a lot of work went into it. And the personal connection only makes it feel more important.
