Overall great podcast
I do enjoy this podcast. You can't go wrong when you get geniuses in the room to discuss what's on their mind. I've got a couple points of feedback though: 1) Get rid of the random quote generator! That is such a juvenile and useless part of the show. Especially if you're not going to actually discuss the quote. Just reciting a quote is a pointless and facile exercise. 2) While good things can come from picking a random clip to react to with your guest, it does seems like it wouldn't be that hard to put some forethought into what clips you discuss. For example, even though the Brian Greene episode did end up covering some interesting ground, it feels kind of odd to be asking one of the world's best physicists about his opinion on the economics of student loans. Intuitively, I would rather hear Brian Greene discuss physics and a well-known economist discuss student loans. Obviously you guys are trying to do something different (which is great), but "random" is not a curation strategy. I really think this podcast has great potential. I look forward to seeing it evolve. Keep it up!Read full review »

This podcast uses a unique approach that differentiates itself from other "smart talk" podcasts, and succeeds in doing so. This podcast is very enjoyable while still being able to make you think and reflect on the discussed topics. This is very well done and I would highly recommend this...Read full review »
