With a combined 45 years of experience in the field of reporting between them, BBC correspondents Richard Lister and Philippa Thomas are no strangers to the harsh realities encountered during the news gathering process. Lister and Thomas draw upon these experiences to help explain the role that citizen journalism has come to play in the 21st century media and to provide insight into the ethical and moral dilemmas they have encountered while collecting footage for global coverage.

While some students were in class, the grade 9 students were at the 117th Marathon cheering on the runners for the Alzheimer's Association but out of harm's way. On April 19th, the city's residents were asked to stay indoors while the dramatic hunt for the nation's most wanted man continued.
