Assurance
While I’m not Lutheran, this podcast and network of 1517 have done a great deal on informing me on Lutheran theology and pointing me in the right direction for studying Lutheran theology a bit more in depth as a layman in the church. I’ve come to deeply appreciate Lutheranism because of these men and I see that Lutheranism seems like an impending move for me that I’m trying to challenge in every way. Lutheran theology has done a great deal for my conscience and assurance of salvation concerning the two kinds of righteousness, the emphasis on total depravity, and what it means to have faith in Christ. I’ve been admonished to not depend on the quality of my repentance, but to simply trust in Christ. Soli Deo Gloria
