Spring represents an awakening. Its many images and symbols speak of our rejuvenation, our coming out of winter’s hibernation with energy and enthusiasm for what comes next. The song of the birds in the park, the grass already in need of mowing, and the first shoots of color bursting forth from the dormant winter soil in our gardens. Life, with all its challenges, is seldom easy. In the face of those discouragements and difficulties, we need those things that can lift up our spirits:...

Proverbs 17:22  tells us, "A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." There are numerous ways to find joy in your everyday life, through looking for meaning, enjoying the small wins in life, and chasing your goals.  But one of the most incredible ways to bring joy into your life is by bringing it into the life of someone else.

Luke 10:30 tells us Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers.
