“There are so, so many movie podcasts out there but "This Had Oscar Buzz" stands out among the pack for a few reasons. First and foremost, this is a very specific category of films that have a super interesting history of production and/or release. You get more than just a review of the films but the stories surrounding it and the reaction of fans, critics, and the Academy. Icing on the cake is that the hosts have a fun and natural conversation that rides the line between "on topic/scripted" and "off the cuff/spontaneous" that works extremely well.
"This Had Oscar Buzz" is one of the podcasts I eagerly await each new episode and devour quickly. Unlike most other movie podcasts, I'll listen to episodes on movies I've not seen. Seeing the movie is not as critical to this podcast as to some others to enjoy it.
