“Drake is what my kids listen too, not so much my taste, so I tuned in because A) I’m from Toronto ( Dream Warriors! Yes!) and B) Hip Hop content in pod casts is few and far between. I was sceptical that CBC could deliver something that wasn’t just a shmaltzy pat on our Canadian backs for being the birthplace of Drake, but Harper and the team deliver a much deeper look into how we got here. My only complaint was I wish there were more episodes. Come on CBC, let’s get a deeper look into the Canadian rap scene, we have so much to celebrate and learn.”
