This podcast’s descriptions and analyses of the problems that occur in coding are spot-on. Eric has got to be the most thoughtful and experienced speaker in the tech podcasting world.

Whilst the audio quality is occasionally ropey, and the stream of conciousness style means that there is some repetition, this is one of my favourite sources for what is it that characterises FP and how can we best make use of it.

Some interesting thoughts on how Functional Programming relates so closely to how we do things in real world compared to message passing style in Object Oriented programming which is a message based simulation of of the real world and does not correctly capture the crux of the problem.
