In 2009,  a gunshot was heard in a heavily wooded area in Starkville Mississippi, followed by someone yelling out, "Oh my God". When a body was found at the edge of a tree lined clearing, it did not take investigators long to track down their one and only suspect. But was the murderer the person who was eventually locked behind bars or would the defense prove the killing was done by someone else close to the victim? Someone who was not on trial? Listen and find out as Melissa tells Daniel the...

Daniel's still scratching his head over this one. You know it's an interesting case when you have dueling forensic medical professionals, very little physical evidence, a voice from the grave, a 911 call that law enforcement deems overly dramatic, and a "swipe right" on a certain dating app.  Did the victim die from and accidental fall? Or were they murdered? We have our opinions. Will yours be the same? Maybe not. Support the show
