Excellent! A must read for me every weekday
‘This Time Could Be Different’ was very informative and provided, for me, a useful filter through the fake news sponsored by the ultra-rich and the sensationalist coverage that makes superficial pronouncements! The informative: 1. Discussion of ‘Learned Helplessness’ 2. The extreme difficulty of reacting properly during a traumatic event such as an active shooting (Even trained Law enforcement officers panic/freeze) 3. Arming teachers is a ridiculous idea! The problem is that there are just too many guns held by people in the US. Need to reduce the number. An example - Australia. 4. Asking whether the teens activism will continue long enough, as legislation takes weeks, months to enact!

More reviews of Today, Explained
Great, amazing and relevant content, but too many ads for such a short format...

I love this podcast! It’s smart, fun, relevant, and dynamic. The “Single Ladies” cover detailing the staff exits from the Trump Administration was particularly creative, and characteristic of the intellectual gameplay happening with “Today, Explained.”

Great work on this terrific episode. As a product of WV public schools and a staff member of KQED (Hi Irene!) I loved this and the fact that SF unified sent $ to feed teachers in Charleston. Your music is also fantastic, I look forward to what I can hear from you!
