A great podcast for expats like myself or anyone interested in dipping their toe into the Canadian history. The programs are compact and well informed. The broadcasters are lively and obviously interested in the topic. Great stuff. Please keep up the good work! From G.A.K. in Japan.

Enjoyable, informative and fun! Short segments on interesting topics which are great for those of us who are committed history geeks and those of us who just have a passing interest. Series repeats after a year, though :(

So happy to have a podcast about Canadian history, and as a newly settled Calgarian I think it's awesome that it's made in Alberta!

Short and to the point, yet nuanced and varied. Each episode is a great intro into a well- or little-known historical moment.

Deep research, wide-ranging interviews, and engaging writing make this a good one.

Instead of important transformative moments in Canadian history, they just present trivial events.

This was such a good pod cast I wish the CNBC or some one would pick it up again. I miss it

As a recent immigrant to Canada, I have really enjoyed listening to this podcast. It’s helped me to start to learn a bit about the nation in which I now live.

Love the pod, all good production and content-wise, but the feed keeps going dead on me. It gets fixed if I delete it from iTunes and then re-subscribe, but odd. Worth the effort though.

Entertaining podcasts that help remind us Canadians that we have an identity. I don't think the 'revisionists' are taking over the world through this podcast, nor do I even care about the occasional trivial gaffs that come from the experts out of the 'Universi-tays'. Listen and be entertained...Read full review »

Love this podcast. It gives an interesting tidbit of Canadian history neatly wrapped in an 8-12 min clip. Would recommend it to all of those who are interested in Canadian history. Great job CJSW, keep it up!

I listened to this podcast for over two months, and I went back and fourth on it - I enjoyed the tidbits of history and the interesting interviews they occasionally have. On the other hand, the rather extreme political biases that would go unaddressed and the occasional glaring ignorance of the...Read full review »

Good podcast for Canadian trivia enthusiasts. Suggestion: put the title of your podcast first before the date. iTunes does not display many characters and the title of the podcast gets cut off. The date is already displayed by default. Keep up the good work!

I'be only listened to two shows, I've only listened to two, but so far so good & I subscribed. If you enjoy history - specifically Canadian history, you really should subscribe to this one. Oh yes, as an added bonus, it's Alberta made! Check it out.
