Coming to this podcast from the perspective of an exhibitor, I’m enjoying the breadth of topics. From the depth of discussion about films that we show in-cinema, through to random practical experiences like recording roller-coasters; there’s something for everyone. Thanks for the production...Read full review »

I thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast. Very interesting talks with the best of the best in the sound capture, edit and presentation world. Where this podcast shines is the importance they place on the personality and working philosophies of the subjects, not just the gear that they use....Read full review »

I've just started "collecting sounds" and have learned that makes me a "field recordist". It's very comforting to find a communitty of folks with the same offbeat proclivity. I'm downloading all episodes back to No, 1.

These guys are everything that I would hope to have in a podcast. Intelligent, knowledgeable, precise and fun. While not really scripted, the episodes are thoughtfully put together with absolutely no fluff. Content heavy. I am primarily an acoustic musician who is venturing into sound design and...Read full review »

As far as I know, this is the only podcast that aimed for sound designers, field recordist. Every episode is full of good information, filled with great interviews and the sound quality is superb.

Instead it's a top...Read full review »

Three fairly heavy hitters in the sound community can't go wrong when they get together to talk about what they love. Dustin, Tim and Rene go through all manner of sound design and field recording, and the pacing is excellent.
