“1) Approachable content without being patronizing or overwhelming?!? No mansplaining here, folks. They've helped me understand the game in ways I basically assumed I'd never get into.
2) The integration of the lore, history of D&D, and mechanics commentary is great!! I definitely wouldn't come by that on my own. I've said, out loud, "OH THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW" more than once thanks to these two.
3) Actual Nice Humans! I sent them an email with a question for my campaign and I got a thorough, specific, and helpful response the next day! They really are as nice as they sound in the podcast.
I came for the DM advice and stayed for that and also everything else.
