How on earth the coroner, or anyone, could put any stock in the ridiculous hypotheses of Graham Ashworth is beyond me. Does he really think any of his nonsensical thoughts are possible? All he has done is made muddy waters even muddier.
This case was hampered over many years by incompetence, sabotage, or a combination of the two. Who knows how many cases were bungled by Vic Pol? Embarrassing and unforgivable.
It’s time to give Maria and her family some semblance of justice, and for Vic Pol to do whatever they can to make amends for the fact that they are the ones responsible for justice having taken so long.
Bodies should be exhumed. I’d want to know if a relative of mine was a murderer - wouldn’t you? The feelings of families should be secondary to finding Maria’s killer, particularly in light of the compelling circumstantial evidence.”
