Same old, same old -
This could be a great pod, but the choice of content is so very ‘samey’ - dull, soulless, dance music, coupled with host ‘favourites’ and artists that couldn’t be more over produced if they tried. Such a shame albums aren’t selected by decade, aren’t more UK-centric, aren’t better varied between different genres. The hosts are clearly the product of Tony Blair’s generation, where nothing was new, nothing was fun, and nothing stands out. Of the years worth of pod eps in the shows catalogue I’ve listened to less than 10 eps. Guys, if you read this, some of the greatest music ever was recorded and released between 1975 - 1995...maybe go back in time and revisit classic albums from when singers could sing and music didn’t all sound the same.

Loved it, but hope to goodness referring to songs as ‘bangers’ is a one episode feature.

Super entertaining podcast, awesome knowledge of pop culture and inside tidbits of what makes artists and albums tick. Hilariously funny as well - whether your a fan of the album of the week or not it’s still worth a listen - great banter
