There are a lot out there and I have sampled lots of 'em. This one is concise, well edited, relevant to seed stage, has the occasional female founder (unusual), and avoids over-use of annoying filler words (pls stop saying awesome and like very fifth word, hosts). Well done, Jay and the...Read full review »

Making a startup be successful is very hard. Jay dives deep into some of these challenges while interviewing founders. The best part of it is that this podcast isn't just a bunch of stories about successes (filled with lots of confirmation bias) but ones filled with pragmatic advice and...Read full review »

This is my go-to podcast for the ride to work and back home. The production quality is amazing - I've heard it compared to "This American Life" (which is a fair comparison). The host is engaging and entertaining and brings to life examples from previous podcast. I have listened to particular...Read full review »

It is important to hear other founder stories, and not the sugar coated versions. Where they say how they were amazing and did everything right from the beginning. You will definitely learn new indepth information in plain language.

I’m about a year in on my startup and find this podcast full of useful information. Great guests (mostly) and inspiring stories of grit and creative solutions. Enough depth to actually help with company strategy but never over anyone’s head if not a techie.

This is now one of my favorite startup podcasts. The thing I like most about Traction is that it’s real founders, talking about real challenges they faced, and ways they overcame them in order to get traction. Often it's gritty or hacky ways to get initial traction, which is great to hear, rather...Read full review »

Really enjoy the in-depth interviews: I find myself often walking away with practical tips. Thanks to this podcast I discovered new books and new products. Also really like the the 3 questions asked at the end. Definitely in my top podcasts!

I've been listening to a lot of startup podcasts lately and this is one of the best. Jay really tries to dig an unearth some of the clever things founders did in the early days (though sometimes he lets them off the hook a little early with generalities - press one more time Jay!). Great caliber...Read full review »

Many podcasts in the startup vein offer really good content. Others tell you all the great things they're going to deliver, but end up falling short because the content is so high-level and broad that it becomes superficially useful. Traction doesn't suffer from the latter. Great content....Read full review »

As a host of a podcast, I know it’s a challenge to ask relevant but also timely questions so that the audience isn’t cheated of the guest’s knowledge. Jay does a wonderful job of nailing this. It likely has to do with the amount of prep he does beforehand.
