Makes me want to run 100 miles
I stumbled upon Melody and Jacob’s podcast about six months ago. I am a huge fan of the “everymans” or woman point of view . I want to know what it’s like for people like myself who have active full lives and families to take on a 100 miles . Being a stat freak is the worst possible personality type for attempting ultra distance races and Mel and Jacob are perfect for me to disengage the mind and enjoy the process . I find their humbleness and pleasant tones to be most encouraging and relaxing . I have since listened to everyone of their podcast , met Melodies father( virtually ) of course and signed on as to recruit Melodie’s aid in checking off a few ultra accomplishments myself . Not a hardcore runner but I love these guys. Inspires me to chase my dreams eve if they are not insane things like run an ultra. I’ve started running more and love all the knowledge they share. Also these two are just the cutest

Average joe’s like me love listening to Jacob and Melody’s experiences. I especially am enjoying season two with Jacob’s parents perspective. I just finished the episode with Mike and it was superb.
