The tones and language used here reveals everything that is WRONG with psychology today. I cannot believe Jonathan Shedler agreed to be on this podcast. Adults behaving like gurus. Condescending and misandrist language. Don’t listen to these people!!! Ugh.

I think its incredibly important to refer accurately to terminology when talking about all topics and in this case I specifically refer to oncology in your last episode. Il17 does not cause bone lesions! It is an immune mediator that can be a potent immunosuppressor. Please caveat non clinical...Read full review »

A dr who sounds like he has never deeply suffered relational trauma, waxing on about normal brains. Couldn't listen to all of it but I sincerely doubt he touches on the complexity of class, resource availability, repetitive wounding, environmental stress, or what real social rejection can do...Read full review »

I went to the NARM website to read more extensively about the method and to look at data on efficacy. I was dismayed to find an (over)abundance of NARM products for sale. Clever packaging and self-promotion presents the unproven (even untested) methods into a supposed legitimate therapy.

These people talk about men in the same terms the Nazis talked about the Jews. Shame on you for fuelling systemic misandry and the male suicide epidemic. The ‘non-pathologising’ people who pathologise masculinity. Disgusting!

You spoke on White privilege, and skinny privilege. Can you elaborate because that concept is completely contradictory to NARM. You are perpetuating misunderstanding and not understanding one another with those statements. Only perpetuating because you are not going in depth on your definition,...Read full review »

I learned about the NARM Training Institute from the podcast. As a trauma-informed coach, I am always looking for additional resources. Sarah does a beautiful job of explaining and presenting the show. Please keep going - and I will be checking out some of the webinars and trainings

The content is very interesting but the moderator is so into NARM that she promotes it like a religion. I would prefer the information presented without the hype.
