Sorry, I’m not on the Patreon, I just wanted to make sure you knew this (you probably did)

This show is incredible. Enough of the roundable of hosts are well researched and I like the constant energy that comes with having so many people on the mic, the best eps are the ones with all the lads.

A very fun, if occasionally deeply depressing look at current events, tech, and what made Britain the strange place it is.

Perfect show but needs more techno recommendations

As a non British person, this is the funniest podcast I listen to.

“Service to the Economy Guaranteed” is both one of the most hilarious things I’ve listened to in a long time while also being so focused and informative in its critique & reflections on the death rattle of neoliberalism as it morphs into its next molt. Absolutely stellar.

The hosts are very smart and astonishingly well-read. Their analyses and critiques are to the point and cutting. But tearing things down is easy. And fun. Unless the podcast faces up to the tougher challenge of offering an alternative positive vision it will remain in its nihilist ghetto.

This is like Chapo trap house but it looks at Britain and rest of world too. It’s not as funny but it is more varied in topics.

it’s bits, it’s supposed to be bits; don’t like it, there’s the door.

Serves as an antidote to the unhinged neo-liberal technological utopianism that has dominated the last few decades, skewering solutions that deliberately overlook deep seated social problems and shining a spotlight on the often-unbalanced self-appointed business moguls claiming they can solve...Read full review »

Does Milo know he sounds like quaaludes acaster when he’s especially agitated?

I’ve spent the last 8 months listening to every episode. It honestly got hard and depressing but all the things I’ve been experiencing and felt crazy for not understanding why things are this way have been explained with the right mix of info and c*m jokes. An excellent listen.

Amazing podcast, but If you subscribe to their patreon you will end up spending dozens, nay hundreds, of hours wallowing in some of the best political commentary and comedy available on the internet. …I don’t regret a single second of it.

Listen. Follow. Go to their Patreon. Pick a level. Subscribe. Enjoy as the insightful commentary & laugh-out-loud hilarity ensues. SIMPLE AS.

A bunch of failed comedians blame the whole world for their own misery. There is some decent social critique in there somewhere but it is completely overwhelmed by the hosts cynicism to be of any use. When the hosts get things wrong, they would not take responsibility and say — this is just a...Read full review »

I listen to this a lot and it’s really interesting. A lot of takes that I’m not hearing anywhere else.

Unfunny UK weirdos, including a man in a hijab who makes fun of Muslims for a living, try desperately to emulate American leftist podcasts but fail because they’re not funny. Not worth a listen.

honestly sometimes i have no idea what the hosts are talking about but they always manage to make it funny. a refreshing take on politics!

I came for the cutting economic analysis, but stayed for Milo’s impersonations. “If ya don’t like it, ‘ers the door”.

Shocking that the #1 Dutch synthpop vehicle in mid-80s Midlands radio has been reduced to this sort of release strategy. Come for THE FREE ONE, stay for the bonus

Giggling cynicism, plain talking about our collapsing world, this is one of the few shows I genuinely find myself waiting for every episode to drop.
Hanksingled via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 10/17/21
Why would I want to listen to these entitled numpties trumpeting on and feeling great about the sound of their own voices? No idea. Turned off after 3 minutes. Guys, check your attitudes.

A lovely positive podcast about how everything is fine and we’re all going to be okay

I like the hosts. I like the subject. But recently almost every episode is hidden on Patreon, and while I definitely support creators and their need to have an income… this is too much. It’s too bad.
BegoniasAndBedazzles via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 07/26/21
The madness of startups. The madness of government. The madness of politics. The insane world riffed by a group of friends with a beer. Milo’s accents and characters are perfection but his shouty rants hit home so hard as being what needs to be said whilst shaking the public physically.
Xxxhhhxxx via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 07/22/21
This show -- as Alice would put it -- *HITS*. The cast usually talks about a strange Silicon Valley app, device, or service which does not do its intended purpose, or if it does, it was something that already existed. This premise lends itself to instant comedy with a bevy of Very Online inside...Read full review »

I found the podcast to be rather banal and a bit pretentious. The hosts are mean-spirited, parochial and moralistic, and their approach engendered quite a grating experience.

The reason I sort of understood the basic finance behind the Greensill scandal. When Davey C and aul’ Rishi’s DMs hit the papers, I could explain it to my mates! Who then said I was making it up - because business and the economy are absolutely definitely logical scientific things, and for sure...Read full review »

I love listening to this. Just the right combo of lefty politics, social commentary and snark. The “what is this startup” segment at the beginning of most shows is positively hilarious. This crew brings some light to the darkest times. They have a great ability to make fun of the worst things....Read full review »
