Each case on its merits
Just because we have an epidemic of DV in Australia doesn’t mean that those re-examining a case are engaged in “covering for men” or that no person should be afforded an opportunity to question the system, process or outcomes. People who hold such views cannot be trusted to be objective or to think critically. Signed, a woman who fought for funding for, set up and worked in women’s refuge and DV services for decades. You must uphold the rights of one to ensure the rights of all.
