Like the show, could do away with political agendas
When the hosts are focused on the games itself, the show is amazing. When Maddie and Jason go on highly political/social justice far left opinionated rants that have nothing to go with gaming, it gets hard to listen to. It’s not that I don’t enjoy hearing viewpoints from a perspective other than my own, but their personalities can get pretty grating. As you can see from the other reviews, Jason is the weakest link and has a big fat ego. Show would be better without him Kirk on the other hand is one of the most interesting voices gaming. He is very knowledgeable on a broad range of genres and always knows how to perfectly articulate his thoughts. Also appreciate Maddie being a permanent host. There are too many gaming podcasts that have “guest” female hosts which I think is very jarring. I like knowing that there is going to be someone of a different gender and vocal tones speaking every week. One other thing I think the show needs is more relevant discussion of current events, ie a news and game reviews segment. Overall room to grow. The grips I have about the show are never going to change, you either learn to deal with the cringeworthy rants or move onto to different podcasts like minmax

More reviews of Triple Click
Split Screen has died. Long live Triple Click. Games industry news, thoughtful “Discourse,” and plenty of off-topic discussion (I presume). Some of the best voices in games journalism doing what they do best. If you subscribe to one video game podcast, make it this one.

Great podcast that’s not as good as the former version - I mostly don’t like them limiting their off topic talk to just one thing. I’m along for the ride, but I definitely preferred Splitscreen so far.
