Lazy excuse for sources.
Sorry but it’s not good enough to generalize “info came from old [insert town here] newspapers” as your sources. If you read the original articles to get enough info for an hour long podcast, then please give the proper credit to the source, articles, and author (if they’re listed). It’s lazy to not give them proper credit when you’re begging people to give you money off a show that wouldn’t be possible without their work in the first place.

More reviews of True Crime Historian
History and true crime are two of my favorite subjects, so I was excited to stumble upon this podcast. I love the insight into popular culture at the time these news articles were written. As a plus the host has an excellent voice that I find easy to listen to.

This is my favorite podcast. Richard had such a great voice, he transports you back a hundred or so years, and the research is brilliant. Keep up the good work.
