Podcast about the hosts
I understood the first episode to say how they didn’t want this to be about the hosts if I am not mistaken. I didn’t read the name for the episodes while going through this podcast, otherwise I would have skipped the first episode and half of the second episode that was basically a repeat of the information given in the 1st episode. I realized in episode 1 that this podcast didn’t seem to be like other podcasts. I have never had a podcast where the entire first episode is just about the group that is basically hosting this show together. Then they reviewed much of that information for the second episode. I almost gave up halfway through episode 1. But at 18 minutes I stopped my walk, and looked at the name that was all about the team. So, I went on to the 2nd episode to continue. I was just before ditching the entire podcast and giving a review of a one but was out walking at night and had 3 more miles to walk and didn’t want to stop in the middle of the night and get another podcast going. So, that is the reason I gave it another chance. It does get better. Now I am entering episode 9 and will give an overall view afterwards. The review will not earn 5 stars though as it is ridiculous how much focus was on the team talking about the crime instead of the couple that was killed. But it definitely has gotten more interesting. I am hopeful that with only 3 episodes left to get that it is leading up to Brandon either being let go or giving him a new trial. To me, nothing made me think he did this crime, so I hope he is let out on a mistrial. I am suspicious of the former best friend, however, who seemed to be feeding the cops inaccurate information the entire time. In fact, he pretty much flat out lied and was caught. And how strange for him to mention the big medieval knife and then have one found at the old home. And the sister seemed way more guilty than the brother to me. So, I am anxious to get to the end and see what happens. I will give a better review. This first review was low due to the excessive talking about themselves more than they did the entire time at this point than the victims.

More reviews of True Crime Story
I love love love this true crime podcast. I love how the team breaks everything down and they tell you exactly what they are going over. Very easy to follow. Very engaging, and I love the non-biased approach and sticking to the facts and holes in the investigation.

The work this team is doing is really admirable. I’m learning a ton and really loving how in depth the episodes go into these cases. I’m telling all my friends to listen in hopes that we can get as much light on these cases as possible!
