“If there’s anything I loathe, it’s “journalists” patting themselves on the back for “bravely telling the story”. It’s always the same. If it’s not LA or NY, it’s considered a backward town full of ignorant, racist hicks. Rockwell county, Texas is the richest county in the state and is not this hot bed of LGBTQ hate. I might have continued listening if they had moved on to talking about the actual case but after 10 minutes of “how did telling the story make you feel”, I was done.”
