Needs a bit of work
I was very glad to find a true crime book podcast , but not overly impressed with this. The background noise ( some type of fizzy noise ) , and there are too many people interrupting the author while he’s trying to talk about his book. A bit disappointing, as I know Burl Barer is an author himself, and thought he might have better equipment without all the background interference and unscripted disjointed form of interviewing an author. Let the author talk. When he stops, ask him a question. Get some better microphones , speakers, whatever else you need to make the sound crisper. Some of these amateur podcasters have a neater , crisper delivery than this one does.

More reviews of True Crime Uncensored with Burl Barer & Mark Boyer
I love you guys but all the misogynistic men on this episode are so rudely making so much background noise when Rebecca is trying to talk - and I’m only saying misogynistic because I have not noticed that on episodes with men being interviewed...

It could have been interesting but there was too much background noise: eating, slurping, rattling paper, some kind odd mechanical noises. Too bad - I liked the topic.
