Could be more down to earth
The contributors come across as smug and sycophantic at times. There is a lot of talk of the film festivals they have attended to watch film premieres. Lots of Cannes name dropping. This comes across as self congratulatory and isn’t relatable for the average film fan, nor is it relevant to the films being reviewed. A good pod ruined by contributors who can be a little up their own a***e at times. Also the editing can be clumsy at times, with ads or jingles inserted when people are mid sentence.

An Interchangeable company of entitled hyper sensitive post graduate pc film critics makes for dull listening, like listening to a pretentious sowing circle, at least James Richardson gives it a bit of personality

The coco/post episode was good but please, the vocal fry of one of the ladies presenting was of epic proportions. It’s an affectation and is too irritating to contend with. Knock it off!
