Always an Engaging Listen
A charming and engaging listen every week. I wouldn't say punk is my favourite genre of music and nor have I heard of many of the bands discussed but it matters not one jot as Abraham (aka Pink Eyes from F***** Up) is such a charming, engaging interviewer. Highlights include the Anthony Bourdain and Andy Capper episodes, some highly amusing anecdotes and a treasure trove of new bands to try as well as those you may have missed the first time (I'm checking out Bad Brains as I type this). If you like Washington DC 'straight edge' bands such as Minor Threat and Fugazi, it's an essnetial listen bas a Brit, I can say that it's also very good on the UK scene throughout the late 80s and 80s while late 70s New York obviously also looms large. One endlessly enjoyable debate is where punk started too. If you don't know Abraham's band, you should check them out too.Read full review »

This has been a wonderful podcast to listen to at work, I thought I had grown out of punk but Damien his guests, and their enthusiasm for records has shown me the light. Albany, 518.

Really enjoyed the last couple with Chris Metz and Chris Propaghandi. Good...Read full review »
