Rod Sterling has nothing to envy on Jordan Harbour
I bumped into Twilight Histories through a guest appearence in the History of Byzantium. Jordan mixes conterfactual historical thought, great scripts, and a revival of the Golden Age of classical radio plays into a riveting 30 minutes of historical adventure. My only regret is that Twilight Histories is not longer! The last episode (Deep City) is a two-part season finale type show with a cliff hanger. As a host, Jordan combines Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone detachment with a little bit of the Cryptkeeper's ironic sense of humor from Tales from the Crypt. The narration and the choice of sound effects adds a layer of realism that makes you feel the events during the episode. A great podscast, that even the most jaded haters of history will enjoy.Read full review »

It is a totally different approach to History pod casting. A interesting narrative story, based on real history as seen through a time machine. It reminds me a little of a 1940s radio program that was narrated. Ingenious!

I love the style of this podcast, and the stories are great. Jordan Harbour outs together a top notch show. Just finished the Deep City saga, looking forward to what he has in store for the future!
