“Very well researched & episodes are unique but narrators are difficult to hear due to the noisy background chatter in the pub. Altho it is the the preferred platform for the narrators - it is distracting so makes it difficult to follow the stories. Otherwise ~ it’s great!”

“I recently found Twisted Britain and instantly fell in love with the show. I love the story telling style in an English pub setting. It’s like we’re all sitting around having a beer together while the stories are being told. I highly recommend this show.”

“Started listening to this podcast to get me through the night shift and now it’s always my go to, only issue being there isn’t a new episode every day”

“I only found Twisted Britain a couple months ago but have been actively dug into the crates to listen to older episodes. I like the mix between your garden variety crime and historical crime and macabre tales. Bob and Ali have such a nice example of platonically sweet male friends. Thank you for...”Read full review »

“Absolutely love Bob and Ali doing Twisted Britain and all the history and tangents that ensue. Love the format of a sit down chat between friends telling each other True Crime stories in the cellar of the Settle Inn in Stirling with several pints (minimum) ! I visited Stirling a couple of years...”Read full review »

“Love listening to you both. Interesting stories and great interaction between you. Just listening to the episode where Bob was singing. Crash Test Dummies song is Mmm Mmm Mmm. And Hanson is Mbop. To funny when you combine the two. Love it.”
“I stumbled across this podcast looking for something about witch trials and have now listened to almost every episode. I am definitely addicted. I love the mix of fact, humour and theories. Perfection. Thank you!”

“Have only just discovered this podcast and listen to this most evenings.
Stories are interesting and like that they do 2 different stories each episode.”

“I listen to loads of podcasts and this is up there with my favourites.
The historical cases are very interesting and the (usually) two cases per episode are often ones that I haven’t heard, and I’ve heard a lot.
I’m currently binge listening as I’ve only just discovered this one. I don’t know...”Read full review »

“I’m loving this casual and engaging podcast that blends true crime with fascinating bits of history, mystery, and macabre. Charming hosts and thoughtful discussions in a Scottish pub; it’s just what this American needs to escape reality.”

“Hello. My first time listening as I I did a massive search for crime from other countries. Tired of our. Love the accent and different style. As I listened I thought I had made up my mind until not trying to save her came up. Surly he could have tried to resuscitate her. And the double ring. Why...”Read full review »

“Really enjoy listening to the historic crime stories of Britain! And, since I live in the U.S. I enjoy the U.K accents. What can I say?
Really, interesting and entertaining content. I also love the fact they record in a local pub and rumblings in the background are noises usually coming from...”Read full review »

“Ideal for an Anglophile and true crime devotee like me. It’s like sitting in a pub and discussing true crime stories with some new friends. Also, I like Bob’s voice. The accents are adorable too.”

“Love this show! Bob and Ali really keep it real by recording in a pub, but this does not detract from the excellent and well-researched stories they deliver. The show has a high-energy hype to it, which just keeps adding to the entertainment factor, but at no point detracts from the seriousness...”Read full review »

“Thanks for sticking with your podcast and finding a new co-host. You are both doing a great job of finding and presenting interesting crime stories. I like the mixture of topics and the friendly banter. I even like the background noises from the pub or your back garden!”

“Gave up trying to listen. Not sure why the hosts think a pub with people joking and laughing in the background (very noisy) is an appropriate venue for talking about crimes. It’s one thing to discuss a case with a mate in the local and another to put out such a disrespectful tone on this kind of...”Read full review »

“The two hosts are great freinds and you can tell by the way they interact with each other. I like the setup of two diffrent stories one long and one short. I also like the way the topics vary. “I came to this podcast late. More than anything else it was the fact that Rob and Nadine never, ever brought their own political persuasions to the subscriber as unfortunately so many other independents do. And for that alone I unequivocally recommend this podcast to any true crime enthusiast....”Read full review »
