“I just found this podcast after asking in a social media group , for a podcast with just one host and a soothing voice . Was Not let down!!! I’m 12 episodes in and absolutely LOVE the host !! She does indeed have a soothing voice , and I don’t have to deal with faked banter between dual hosts feigning shock and horror . These episodes are well researched , well narrated , and just plain seriously awesome to listen to ! So thrilled to have found her ! Side note , her earlier episodes were recorded on a boat , but this hasn’t bothered me , and in fact I’ve enjoyed the soft background sounds . Grateful she doesn’t add loud background or purposeful sound FX . ( second side note , I’m a chronic migraine sufferer ,this podcast is EXACTLY what I need on my bad days . I can still listen to true crime stories without loud varying voices . Super calming )”
