I really love this podcast! Content is great, but the crosstalk (the way Amy constantly “mm” “yeah” adding acknowledgment every two seconds into the microphone) made it difficult to listen. I’m sorry! I’m thinking specifically about the episode of the deep dive into OCPD, ironically triggered my...Read full review »

This is awesome and gives me much needed brain food, clarity, reassurance and challenge during very difficult times as a health professional and personally. Amy and Hunter have a great way of communicating and pitching things at the right level for me as a non-psychologist (physio). They are also...Read full review »

Two intelligent, empathetic psychologists using both research papers, personal experience, movie critiques, and occasional interviews to shed light on many areas. With thanks from an MD writer looking to learn

The two shrinks don’t dumb down the podcast but make the material accessible for anyone to find entertaining. Amy and Hunter are also funny so the intertwining of the material and their colorful charismatic relationship makes each episode enjoyable!

Very-well deconstructed complex topics in the minefield that is psychology. Accessible to both the public, while staying informative to professionals. Very well done, thank you!

I had to quit halfway through as the female doctor either doesn’t have her mic on right or is mumbling. It might sound petty, but it’s a huge pet peeve of mine and is really distracting when you’re trying to concentrate on what she’s saying. They both speak to fast and ramble, it’s just too...Read full review »

Interesting content, and nice balance of serious and light/informal approaches. Love the friendly voices, recording quality and lack of shouting (compared with o so many shouty pods).

Would love to keep listening but both of you drop your voice too much. Remind you that you are not just chatting to each other!

I found this podcast because it was one of a very few that popped up for various search terms. They discuss some topics that aren’t talked about in depth much on other podcasts. It’s informative without being boring & doesn’t have irritating music or background noise. No commercials interrupt...Read full review »

A very informative podcast - great for some factual knowledge you can get from wiki or the DSM. Predominantly explaining everything in a very clinical and cold manner. Basically someone reading out the DSM. A bit concerning to listen how professionals severely “other”people when they should...Read full review »

Big fan of the podcast, as a psychologist myself I find the content both informative and funny. Would highly recommend to anyone who is curious about the field or is practicing within the demographics covered in the podcast.

Thank you! A great podcast on ocpd - which most people don’t understand or recognise and confused with ocd. I was married to someone with ocpd for 14 years - emotionally and physically abusive ... but therapist etc had no idea...as happens with narcissistic abuse.

I like the podcast very much. Great info. The male host’s voice is rather soft and a bit hard for me to hear when the volume of the female host’s voice is sufficient.
