Insightful and fun
Went on a long road trip and listened to most of the UUP? episodes. This podcast starts a bit fumbling but begins to find its voice/groove a few hours in. I never comment on these things but I think this podcast has terrific potential, so definitely wanted to send my kudos. I love the format. Super honest and fun and relatable. Great topics and discussions from the emails. Wasn’t familiar with the hosts but I did listen to a bit of the “I had a nice time” audio book a while back. Helpful tips even to a guy listener. Random critiques: Jared has great/inventive and often hilarious commentary, but his tangents can get a bit much at times. I feel like Jordanna has more to say, more personal anecdotes, and perhaps I’m just missing these. As a guy, I’d love to hear more about what girls open up to, what makes her make certain decisions in the moment. She has gotten more willing (confident?) in sharing these through the episodes so keep it up! Very helpful to my demo, I should say. I enjoy the redflag/dealbreaker game but can we change it up? Of course I’m being a needy listener, but I think the show could level up with some sense of variety. Anyway, solid job - the show is taking shape and the hosts are insightful and care about the content. Loving it. Looking forward to future eps. P.s. - it’s a pros/cons list, y’all. That whole bit about the ven diagram cracked me up!

More reviews of U Up?
Jared's advice is based off of his sour experiences with "girls". He generalizes both men and women. Jordana is smarter, but both of them go off on idiotic sexist banter. You should only follow their opinions if you want to attract immature partners.Read full review »
