“What I appreciate about this podcast is the reporting and synthesis on multiple dimensions of the war, along with in-depth analysis. A lot of US podcasts (I am American) are short (State of Ukraine from NPR is like 5 min), but this podcast just goes in-depth into political, military, and social reporting and analysis. I also appreciate the incorporation of a more human-centered story telling. The features on the Ukrainian chef in London, the comic in bomb shelters, the local reporter, the Eurovision presenter— they all brought the spirit of Ukrainians to the listener. This isn’t just frontlines and speeches- it’s a deeper story.”
