We grew up in different worlds, interacted with different cultures, and developed polarizing opinions about the Muslim woman’s role in society. This podcast is hosted by my mother, Maydah Abu-Shaar and myself, Duaa Fahmy. We’ll be unpacking the hush-hush taboo topics Muslim women deal with on a daily basis. Using Quran, sunnah and our wild perspectives, we will stretch the barriers of our minds to promote a balanced understanding of the deen in the modern context.
