Great guests and interesting topics but not well interviewed
It's great to have a podcast that can get interesting people on and discuss important things, and I love that there is a woman who hosts this podcast. My problems with this however rest with Laura Shin herself - though she has a general understanding of the crypto sphere and knows what questions 'should' be asked, unfortunately she does not recognise the gaps in her knowledge or the nuances required in the discussion which hurt the interview. Sometimes I get so frustrated as she interrupts guests who are trying to explain their opinion or the facts and she presses on, trying too hard to be a 'hard hitting reporter'. Sometimes there are really interesting discussions that get pushed to the wayside because of the disagreement or because (it seems) she's focused on the next talking point and on time. I love that Laura has a strong point of view and the conviction to match but sometimes I wish she would come from more of a place of curiosity to facilitate those discussions. And make the episodes two parters if you don't have the time to keep the discussion going! I do keep downloading episodes, even inspite of all of this so you can see that there is huge value in listening and supporting this podcast.Read full review »
